Job summary

Dane Street is seeking a Credentialing Assistant to support reviewer credentialing processes and ensure compliance with URAC and client standards. You will coordinate with multiple departments to gather data, perform primary source verifications, and maintain documentation.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, timely communication with Operations, and ongoing updates to licenses, certifications, and sanctions checks, with remote work options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of URAC and relevant State and Federal guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills as well as understanding of medical terminology.
• Critical thinking, ability to manage time efficiently and to meet specific deadlines.
• Computer literacy and typing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Enter reviewer data and perform online credentialing verifications.
• Verify board certifications, licenses, and background checks (primary source).
• Maintain Judgments document and Do Not Use status.
• Update expired licenses, board certifications, and workers’ compensation registrations.
• Perform sanctions checks and gather supporting documents for review.
• Manage reviewer records including W-9s and deactivations per client/ops requests.
• Edit fee schedules and obtain updated fee agreements.
• Participate in URAC-required Quality Management Committee activities.
• Provide credentialing guidance to leadership for contracts and operations.
• Support other duties and projects as needed.
