Job summary

DAP Health is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to manage onboarding, credentialing, recredentialing, and privileging for clinical staff. You will ensure all required documents are collected, organized, and prepared for verification by the Credentialing Specialist.

Primary responsibilities include coordinating communications across departments, monitoring license expirations, and maintaining compliant credentialing logs and files. This is a fully remote role supporting diverse teams nationwide.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans.
• Two years of experience in clinical credentialing.
• Experience with credentialing software such as MD Staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrative contact for all new staff during onboarding.
• Coordinate communication between Credentialing, People Operations, department leaders, and external licensing or training entities.
• Request, collect, and track all required documents across all disciplines (ID, CV, licenses, certifications, education records, immunization records, etc.).
• Monitor expirations (licenses, DEA, life support certifications) and communicate with staff to obtain updates.
• Compile credentialing documents for review by the Credentialing Specialist, Department Chair, or Department Director.
• Coordinate meeting schedules, committee packet deadlines, and communication timelines; provide status updates to cross-departmental teams.
• Assist in maintaining audit-ready credentialing files to support HRSA OSV and FTCA requirements.
• Provide timely assistance to staff regarding document needs or process questions; collaborate with internal teams.
