Job summary

Curana Health is seeking a Credentialing Specialist for Facilities to support credentialing across facilities ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role focuses on verification, data integrity, and timely processing of credentialing activities in a remote setup.

You will regularly review licenses, accreditation and regulatory requirements, communicate with facilities and coordinate with contracting teams to sustain a compliant provider network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with facility credentialing is preferred, especially health plan credentialing.
• Familiarity with NCQA, CMS or related credentialing standards is preferred.
• Additional credentialing experience or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Credentialing Review & Evaluation: review facility credentialing applications and perform primary source verification including license, CCN, DEA, NPDB, accreditation reviews.
• Communication: clarify credentialing questions and obtain missing information from facilities.
• Data Entry & Management: update and maintain accurate facility information in credentialing systems.
• Recredentialing & Follow-Up: manage recredentialing applications and ensure timely processing.
• Monitoring & Compliance: track licenses, certifications and compliance; prepare monthly reports.
• Sanctions & Exclusions Review: verify sanctions/exclusions compliance.
• Reporting & Documentation: generate credentialing reports and send notices as directed by the Credentialing Committee.
• Support & Collaboration: provide credentialing support to contracting and other teams.
• Workload & Productivity: handle high-volume workload and meet production timelines.
