Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated tax professional to help TurboTax customers complete their returns. This remote role uses video tools to interact with clients and deliver expert tax guidance and explanations.

The position requires an active unrestricted credential (EA/CPA/Attorney) and 2+ years of federal and state 1040 experience. Flexible hours (min 20 per week) and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• 2+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state individual 1040 returns for at least 30 clients per season using commercial tax software.
• Must possess or obtain State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Must possess an active PTIN.
• Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Proficient with technology and computer software.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax advice and explain tax terms to customers.
• Perform full-service return preparation and obtain signatures.
• Answer product/software questions and perform tax calculations.
• Document customer interactions and troubleshoot inquiries per procedures.
• Meet KPI metrics and participate in pilots and trainings.
