Deborah Heart and Lung Center is seeking a professional medical coder to review and code patient records for both inpatients and outpatients. You will assign ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes and verify CPT-4 codes, DRGs, and APCs to ensure accurate billing and reporting.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of acute care coding experience, an Associate in Health Information Technology, and RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCA credentials.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Familiarity with ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT-4 coding systems.

Responsibilities

• Review and code patient records for inpatients and outpatients.
