Deborah Heart and Lung Center is seeking a clinical coding professional to review and code patient records across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will assign ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes and verify CPT-4 codes, DRGs, and APCs to ensure accurate billing and clinical documentation.

The role requires familiarity with anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and disease pathology, with credentials such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCA preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCA credentials.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, and disease pathology.
• Experience coding with ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and CPT-4.

Responsibilities
