Job summary

Deborah Heart and Lung Center is seeking a skilled health coder to review and code patient records across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will assign ICD-10-CM/PCS codes and verify CPT-4 codes, DRGs, and APCs to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.

Experience preferred: 1-3 years in acute care coding. Education: Associate in Health Information Technology. Licenses: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCA. This remote role offers generous benefits and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years acute care coding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT-4, DRGs, and APCs required.
• Associates in Health Information Technology preferred.
