Job summary

thatgamecompany, Inc. is seeking a Contract Project Manager for Creative Services to keep the creative pipeline moving and surface problems early.

The role covers intake, prioritization, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination across Marketing, Community, Art, and Production teams. You will track deadlines, manage timelines for game updates and campaigns, and coordinate with freelancers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries, while escalating risks with proposed fixes.

Qualifications

• Several years of project management or producing experience for creative or marketing teams.
• Experience managing artists, designers, or other creatives through intake, review, and delivery.
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace and waterfall/gantt chart project trackers.
• Clear written and verbal communication, and comfort escalating early.
• Ability to work independently and learn a new team quickly.

Responsibilities

• Intake, prioritization, and scheduling across Marketing, Community, and Art; keep asset calendar current and provide a single view of in-flight work.
• Track timelines for game updates, social campaigns, and community events; ensure assets land on time.
• Manage reviews, approvals, and feedback loops to keep work moving between stakeholders and creative leads.
