Job summary

thatgamecompany, Inc. is seeking a Contract Project Manager for Creative Services to keep the creative pipeline moving across Marketing, Community, and Art. This remote US role aligns with Pacific Hours and runs for ~2 months.

You will own intake, prioritization, scheduling, timelines, reviews, risk flagging, and cross-functional communication, while coordinating freelancers and vendors to stay within scope and budget.

Qualifications

• Several years of project management or producing experience for creative or marketing teams.
• Experience managing artists, designers, or other creatives through intake, review, and delivery.
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace and waterfall/gantt chart project trackers.
• Clear written and verbal communication, and comfort escalating early.
• Ability to work independently and learn a new team quickly.

Responsibilities

• Manage intake, prioritization, and scheduling to keep the creative pipeline moving.
• Track timelines and deliverables for game updates, social campaigns, and community events.
• Facilitate reviews, approvals, and feedback loops to prevent stalls.
• Flag early risks, propose fixes, and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication between creative, marketing, community, production, and publishing.
• Coordinate and track freelancers and vendors within current scope and budget.
