Logan Health is seeking an experienced Certified Professional Coder for a fully remote, full-time position. You will assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for outpatient records, and you will abstract key data for tracking, reporting, and reimbursement purposes.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of professional coding experience and a nationally recognized coding certificate (CCA/ CCS/ CPC or AAPC). The role involves billing and collections for assigned client databases and requires strong

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding guidelines.
• Nationally recognized coding certificate: CCA, CCS, CPC or AAPC.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, detail-oriented and team player.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Assign and sequence ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes for outpatient records.
• Abstract essential data elements for tracking, reporting, and reimbursement.
• Billing and collections for assigned client databases.
• Ensure documentation supports services and medical necessity.
• Follow coding guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate corrections with Patient Access and ensure accurate billing.
• Meet productivity standards of Revenue Integrity Coding.
• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement activities.
