Job summary

Open Mind Health offers a 100% remote telehealth opportunity for licensed California therapists to provide virtual couples, relationship, and family therapy. This independent contractor role pays $70–$80 per hour and requires an active CA license, with a minimum of 20 hours per week and flexible scheduling.

Therapists will work with relational and systemic approaches, maintain clinical documentation, and collaborate with a broader care team while serving clients located in California.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or licensed Psychologist [PsyD/PhD]).
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based care.
• Comfortable using technology and telehealth platforms.
• Passion for culturally responsive, client-centered care.
• Ability to maintain a minimum of 20 hours of recurring weekly availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual psychotherapy to couples, partners, and/or families.
• Assess relational and family-system needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Support clients with communication, conflict, relationship transitions, parenting, intimacy, and other relational concerns.
• Apply evidence-guided relational or systemic approaches appropriate to your training and scope of practice.
• Deliver culturally responsive, client-centered care.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the broader care team as appropriate.
• Practice within applicable professional, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
