Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking a Travel Consultant to join our highly skilled remote team. You will advise and arrange travel for corporate clients, both individuals and groups, leveraging Sabre GDS and ensuring policy compliance.

You’ll perform travel research, handle domestic and international bookings, and collaborate with colleagues to improve service levels. Willingness to work flexible day, evening, night shifts, including weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years corporate travel experience.
• Native Sabre GDS expertise.
• Professional communication (written and verbal).
• Attention to detail and integrity in handling traveler information.
• Strong understanding of the travel industry.
• Able to resolve customer issues quickly and independently.
• Teamwork and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (individuals and groups).
• Research travel options and anticipate traveler needs to upsell services.
• Book domestic and international travel (air, rail, accommodations) with varying complexity.
• Utilize Sabre and other GDS systems.
• Ensure compliance with travel policies and regulatory requirements.
• Use positive telephone service techniques and handle special requests.
• Collaborate with the team to coach and mentor for better service levels.
