Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking a Global Servicing Travel Consultant to join our remote team, delivering outstanding service to corporate clients in the US, Canada, UK and Australia. You’ll arrange domestic and international travel, use Sabre GDS, ensure policy compliance, and collaborate across teams to drive traveler satisfaction.

The role requires at least 2 years of corporate travel experience, strong communication, fares knowledge, and flexibility to work shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of corporate travel experience
• 2+ years native Sabre GDS expertise
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills in travel
• Strong time management and organization
• Fares and ticketing knowledge including RTW and complex fares
• Knowledge of car service, hotels and rail products
• Domestic and international destination knowledge
• Awareness of visa/travel advisories and regulations
• Ability to adapt communication style and lead travelers to outcomes
• Ability to adapt to change
• Ability to work across teams and departments

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers in US, Canada, UK and Australia.
• Conduct analysis and research on travel options and anticipate traveler needs to upsell services.
• Arrange and book domestic and international business travel across air, road, rail, and accommodations.
• Use Sabre as the Global Distribution System (GDS).
• Ensure compliance with travel policies, provider policies, and regulations.
• Utilize positive service techniques and handle special customer requests.
• Prevent fraudulent bookings by following security protocols.
• Collaborate within the team to coach and provide feedback to improve service.
