Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) is seeking a Travel Consultant to join our highly skilled remote team serving corporate clients. You’ll advise and arrange travel for individuals and groups, ensure policy compliance, and leverage Sabre GDS to provide exceptional service.

Flexible shifts include day, afternoon, night and weekends. The role requires at least 3 years of corporate travel experience, strong communication, and a deep understanding of the travel industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ corporate travel experience.
• Native GDS expertise – Sabre.
• Professional communication (written and verbal).
• Strong understanding of the travel industry.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (individuals and groups).
• Conduct analysis and research on travel options and pro-actively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services.
• Arrange and book domestic and international business travel (air, road, rail, accommodations).
• Use Global Distribution Systems (GDS) – Sabre.
• Ensure compliance to travel policy, provider policies and regulatory requirements.
• Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests.
• Collaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels.
