Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking a Global Servicing Travel Consultant to join our remote team serving corporate clients across multiple markets. You will advise and arrange travel, ensure policy compliance, and upsell services while coordinating with internal teams.

We value strong communication, customer service, and adaptability, with a focus on delivering high-quality travel arrangements and supporting clients worldwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of corporate travel experience.
• Minimum 2 years of native Sabre GDS expertise.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills in a travel environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with multi-tasking and prioritization.
• Fares and ticketing knowledge, including RTW and complex fares.
• Knowledge of products including car service, hotels and rail.
• Domestic and international destination knowledge.
• Keeping up to date with international travel notifications and guidelines.
• Ability to adapt communication style to the audience and guide travelers to outcomes.
• Ability to adapt to change and work across teams and departments.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers in the US, Canadian, UK and Australian markets.
• Conduct analysis and research on travel options and anticipate traveler needs to upsell services.
• Arrange and book domestic and international business travel for air, road, rail, and accommodations.
• Use Sabre GDS as the Global Distribution System.
• Ensure compliance with travel policies and provider guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Use professional telephone service techniques and handle special requests.
• Prevent fraudulent bookings by following security protocols after hours.
• Collaborate within the team to coach, mentor and improve service levels.
