Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Global Servicing Travel Consultant to join our remote team. You’ll advise and book corporate travel, primarily for US, Canada, UK and Australia markets, using Sabre GDS to serve clients with accuracy and care.

The role emphasizes strong communication, flexibility with shifts (6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. EST), and collaboration across teams to maintain policy compliance and high service levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ corporate travel experience.
• Native GDS expertise in Sabre.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills in travel environment.
• Fares & Ticketing knowledge – including RTW and complex fares.
• Knowledge of products including car service, hotels and rail.
• Domestic & International destination/geographical knowledge.
• Ability to adapt communication style to the audience and lead the traveler to outcomes.
• Willingness to adapt to shift schedules (EST) and work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate customers in US, Canada, UK and Australian Markets.
• Conduct analysis and research on travel options, and pro-actively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services
• Arrange and book domestic and international business travel, in a variety of complexity, for air, road, rail, and accommodations
• Use of Sabre as the Global Distribution System (GDS)
• Ensure compliance to customers’ travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements
• Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests
• Prevent fraudulent callers from trying to book trips afterhours by following our security protocols.
• Collaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels
