Job summary

Baptist Health Care is seeking a Corporate Scheduler to manage scheduling of outpatient diagnostic services for patients and physicians’ offices within the system. This full-time, remote role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and smooth patient flow.

You will coordinate with physician offices, handle registrations and pre-authorizations, use multiple scheduling platforms, and ensure HIPAA and identity checks are followed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• 6 months Previous revenue cycle or Customer service experience Required

Responsibilities

• Schedules physician appointments and outpatient diagnostic services based on clinical requirements and provider availability.
• Manages registrations and understands insurance payors and pre-cert/authorization criteria for scheduling and services.
• Coordinates with physician offices and internal teams to obtain necessary authorizations and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Provides clear instructions and preparation requirements to patients to support a smooth visit.
• Maintains scheduling accuracy and compliance with HIPAA and Red Flag rules.
• Uses multiple scheduling platforms to maintain accurate records and patient flow.
• Notifies supervisor and departments when deferrals occur due to incomplete financial clearance or missing authorizations.
