Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth through inorganic and organic initiatives, including digital health and emerging technologies. You will work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across the globe, shaping the corporate portfolio and leading due diligence, business cases, and execution.

The role involves regular travel to Lake Zurich, IL HQ and is remote-friendly.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field.
MBA strongly preferred.
5+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and business analytics functions; 3+ years in healthcare.
Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
Ability to travel up to 15%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across all Fresenius business areas and identify targets for inorganic growth.
Lead project management with functional leads and global cross-functional teams to deliver corporate projects through due diligence, business case development, board approvals and execution.
Prepare pitch documents for management alignment and prioritization of inorganic targets.
Manage internal strategic corporate portfolio analysis and recommendation of new business areas and target evaluations.
Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analyses.
Manage strategic corporate projects including inorganic opportunities through all phases from identification to execution.
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to deliver corporate projects through due diligence and execution.
Present Fresenius as a preferred partner/owner to external interfaces, including consultants, brokers, and investment banks.
Leverage market dynamics to support strategy discussions and future direction.
