Job summary

Harris Healthcare is seeking a business-oriented Corporate Counsel to join the Legal Team. This remote role requires 4+ years of experience, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of US healthcare laws including HIPAA.

You will support multiple business units within Harris Healthcare, coordinating with the Legal & Compliance Department to mitigate risk and drive growth. The role involves drafting and negotiating licenses, service agreements and technology contracts,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a well-regarded firm or company.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills for technology contracts.
• Understanding of US healthcare laws including HIPAA and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and contracts.
• Lead corporate and commercial transactions from inception to close based on experience.
• Create and maintain template agreements based on business and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with Legal & Compliance and cross-functional teams to support business growth.
• Advise internal clients and represent Harris Healthcare needs to customers, vendors and partners.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess legal risks in the changing environment.
