Job summary
Harris Healthcare is seeking a business-oriented Corporate Counsel to join our Legal Team. This remote role supports Harris Healthcare's software products for hospitals, providers, and health plans across North America and beyond.
The incoming attorney will handle a broad range of commercial agreements and transactions, with a focus on HIPAA and privacy compliance. The candidate should bring 4+ years of experience from a respected firm or company, strong drafting ability, and excellent business
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience at a reputed firm or company.
- Strong understanding of legal issues in technology contracts, software license agreements, and US healthcare laws including HIPAA.
- Excellent drafting skills and business judgment for cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (license, reseller, service, development, NDA).
- Lead structuring, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and closing corporate and commercial transactions based on experience level.
- Create and maintain template agreements aligned with business and legal requirements.
