The ideal candidate has a JD and 5+ years of commercial agreement experience in health law, with strong writing and analytical skills. Flexibility to align with Pacific Time is required; compensation aligns with the upper healthcare market.

Qualifications

• JD admitted to practice in at least one state and federal jurisdiction in the US.
• 5+ years of commercial agreements experience, healthcare/life sciences preferred.
• Familiarity with health law, fraud and abuse, HIPAA/HITECH, and Sunshine Act.

Responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal support to Commercial, Market Access, Payer Relations, and Sales teams.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements (customer, payer, service, EHR integration).
• Advise on healthcare laws and industry standards impacting commercial activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop practical legal strategies.
• Lead or support negotiations for strategic commercial transactions.
• Develop and improve contract templates and negotiation playbooks.
• Stay current on regulatory developments and translate to actionable guidance.
