Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; MS or MBA preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Ten years of full-time experience in industry or public accounting, including managing remote teams and international operations.
• Exceptional accounting and analytical skills; deadline-focused; professional ethics.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop accounting professionals.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills; able to create initiatives and manage outcomes.
• Demonstrable experience utilizing technology to meet financial close goals; NetSuite experience highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
• Candidates must reside in one of the listed eligible states.

Responsabilités

• Direct the activities of the Accounting Department related to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and deliver reconciled financial information for internal and external statements.
• Develop and enforce financial policies to safeguard the organization’s assets.
• Oversee accounts receivable aging, including billings, cash receipts, and merchant accounting, with oversight from the Assistant Controller.
• Oversee accounts payable, disbursements, payroll processing, and tax compliance.
• Manage accounting activities of international offices, currency translation, and foreign tax compliance.
• Lead system enhancements and implementations; coordinate with NetSuite, Concur, ADP and consultants.
• Plan and direct audit work papers and reconciliations, and provide QA review of financial information.
• Provide leadership on accounting policy and GAAP to the CFO/CEO and executives.
• Improve accuracy and transparency of accounting records and schedules.
• Direct fixed asset reporting and inventory processes.
• Mentor, coach, and develop staff; conduct performance reviews.
