Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations for a US-based, globally oriented organization. This senior role requires managing close processes, internal controls, and external audits while providing strategic guidance to executive leadership.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in accounting, strong GAAP knowledge, and a track record of developing high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred).
• CPA credential preferred.
• ≥10 years of full-time experience in public accounting or industry.
• Experience supporting international operations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience managing remote accounting teams.
• Strong GAAP, internal controls, and financial close expertise.
• Experience with NetSuite; familiarity with Concur and ADP is beneficial.
• Proven leadership in mentoring accounting professionals and driving process improvements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with executives, auditors, and service providers.
• Ability to manage deadlines and complex financial reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Develop, document, and enforce accounting policies and internal controls.
• Oversee accounts receivable, including billing, cash receipts, and aging.
• Manage accounts payable, payroll, and related compliance.
• Oversee international accounting and currency translation per U.S. GAAP.
• Maintain integrity of financial systems and data quality.
• Lead financial system improvements with NetSuite/Concur/ADP.
• Coordinate audit workpapers and external audits; ensure timely delivery.
• Advise CFO/CEO on policies, reporting, and GAAP applications.
• Improve reporting quality across the organization and subsidiaries.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting and physical inventory processes.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team; drive engagement.
• Support strategic priorities and adapt to organizational needs.
