Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations and deliver accurate financial reporting for a multinational organization. This executive role handles month-end closes, policy development, internal controls, and external audits while mentoring the accounting team.

The position is a full-time remote opportunity based in the United States. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proven leadership in complex finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; MBA/MS preferred.
• CPA credential preferred.
• 10+ years of full-time experience in public accounting or industry.
• Experience supporting international operations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience managing remote teams and leading accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Develop, document, and enforce accounting policies and internal controls.
• Oversee accounts receivable, billing, and cash applications with the Assistant Controller.
• Manage accounts payable, payroll processing, and tax compliance.
• Supervise international accounting activities and currency translation per U.S. GAAP.
• Lead financial system improvements and work with NetSuite, Concur, and ADP.
• Direct audit preparation and provide GAAP-based disclosures.
• Advise CFO/CEO on accounting policies and financial reporting.
