Job summary

Maven Clinic, the world’s largest virtual clinic for women and families, seeks a part-time contract UX writer and voice partner to define Maven’s product voice across navigation, CTAs, clinical modules, and AI agent responses.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Clinical, Product, Legal and Compliance to ensure a single, consistent voice, tone, taxonomy, and language across all user touchpoints and education materials.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in UX writing or product copywriting.
• Experience in conversation design or LLM-powered products.
• Healthcare AI or digital health experience preferred.
• Ability to distill feedback for engineering into actionable changes.
• Strong writing with empathy for clinical topics.

Responsibilities

• Review real AI agent conversations and provide tone and language feedback.
• Define and champion Maven's AI voice and brand language within product constraints.
• Synthesize stakeholder feedback into a prioritized set of voice themes.
• Work with Clinical and Engineering to identify effective conversations and improvement opportunities.
• Advise on agent response structure and patterns for education and disclaimers.
• Write and refine UX copy for in-product experiences and onboarding screens.
