Job summary

Maven Clinic is seeking a conversational AI UX writer and voice partner to define the company's product voice across AI agents and UX copy. You will shape tone, taxonomy, and language, ensuring clarity, empathy, and clinical accuracy in health contexts.

Collaborate with Engineering, Clinical, and Product to align prompts, prompts evaluation, and education/disclaimers. This hands-on role requires strong portfolio in UX writing for AI products, experience with prompts, and a part-time schedule

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UX writing or product copywriting.
• Direct experience in conversation design or LLM-powered AI products.
• Ideally experience in healthcare AI or digital health.
• Experience reviewing conversations or user feedback to distill themes for engineering.
• Exceptional writing/editing for sensitive, clinical subject matter.
• Experience applying brand tone/voice guidelines to product/UX copy and AI/agent conversation.
• Ability to synthesize feedback from clinical, compliance, product, and engineering stakeholders.
• Naming experience for products, features, or programs with rationale.

Responsibilities

• Review AI agent conversations and provide tone, emotional register, and word-choice feedback.
• Define Maven's AI voice and create clear language principles for LLm-generated responses.
• Synthesize feedback into themes and act as the single voice for the team.
• Collaborate with Clinical and Engineering to identify conversations that worked and where improvements are needed.
• Advise on agent response anatomy and recommended patterns for implementation.
• Work with design and product teams to ensure copy density, hierarchy, and usability.
