Job summary

Maven Clinic is seeking a conversational AI UX writer and voice partner to define how Maven’s product sounds across AI agents and interfaces. You’ll shape tone, clarity, and empathy in copy from navigation to onboarding, ensuring clinical accuracy and user-friendly experiences.

This hands-on role collaborates with Engineering, Clinical, Product, and Legal to publish a consistent voice, craft education and DISCLAIMERS, and deliver UX copy for care plan screens, agent introductions, and in-app

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in UX writing or product copywriting with direct experience in conversation design or LLM-powered AI products.
Experience with AI/conversation design and strong portfolio.
Ideally healthcare AI or digital health experience and collaboration with clinical/compliance teams.
Ability to distill feedback into clear themes for engineering and product teams.

Responsibilities

Review real AI agent conversations and provide tone, readability, and word choice feedback.
Define and champion Maven's AI voice, translating brand voice into language principles for prompts.
Synthesize feedback from multiple stakeholders into a prioritized themes list for a single voice.
Collaborate with Clinical and Engineering to identify where prompts and evaluations can improve.
Advise on agent response anatomy and patterns for implementation and approval.
Write and refine UX copy for care plan screens, AI intro/onboarding, navigation and CTAs.
