Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Controls Engineer to provide advanced technical support for control systems and automated production equipment. You will troubleshoot, optimize control functionality, and support startup and commissioning activities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency across the facility.

The role is fully remote from IL/TX/GA with travel about 50% and requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, 3–5 years of controls experience in manufacturing, and proficiency with CMMS and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of controls experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CMMS and SAP Plant Maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, controls, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with control systems and automated production equipment.
• Interface with Operations and IT on design and operational issues.
• Support implementation of operational and cost-efficiency initiatives in automation.
• Lead or support problem-solving methodologies and root cause analyses to improve processes.
• Assist in training peers and maintenance staff on control methods.
• Ensure technical solutions comply with security practices and audit requirements.
• Support startup protocols, including Factory/ Site Acceptance Tests and commissioning.
