TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Controls Engineer to provide advanced technical support for control systems and automated production equipment across our facilities. This role emphasizes troubleshooting, startup and commissioning, and driving safety, quality, and efficiency improvements. The position is fully remote with work from Illinois, Texas or Georgia and approx.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of controls experience in a manufacturing environment required; CPG/food/bev preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, controls, mechanical and electrical components in food manufacturing equipment and safety standards.
• Hands-on experience with installation and repair of manufacturing/packaging equipment in sanitary environments.
• Continuous improvement mindset; Lean and Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
• CMMS experience; SAP Plant Maintenance knowledge a plus.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, leadership, and analytical skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues involving control systems and automated production equipment.
• Interface with Operations, Technical Services, and internal/external resources on design and operational issues.
• Support automation-driven cost-efficiency initiatives through data analysis.
• Lead or support problem-solving methodologies and root cause analyses to improve processes.
• Support training of peers, Operators, and Maintenance staff on control methods and processes.
• Ensure technical solutions comply with security practices and IT audit requirements.
• Provide technical support to capital project teams.
• Support startup protocols, including FATs, SATs, commissioning, qualification and verification.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, standards, and control system records.
• Support change management and backup procedures for automation programs.
