Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Controls Engineer to support control systems and automated equipment across our manufacturing facilities. You will troubleshoot, optimize, and lead startup and commissioning activities while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 3–5 years of controls experience in manufacturing, with SAP PM/CMMS and Lean Six Sigma preferred. This remote-friendly role is based in the United States with potential on-site needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of controls experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, controls and safety standards for food manufacturing equipment.
• Hands-on experience with installation and repair of packaging equipment in sanitary environments.
• Lean and Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
• CMMS experience; SAP Plant Maintenance knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve control system issues on automated equipment.
• Interface with Operations, Technical Services, and external resources on design/operational issues.
• Support automation-driven operational and cost-efficiency initiatives through data analysis.
• Lead or support root-cause analyses and process improvements.
• Assist training of peers, Operators, and Maintenance staff on control methods.
