Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a strategic Controller to lead accounting operations for a growing healthcare organization.

You will oversee financial reporting, internal controls, cash flow, budgeting, audits, and systems, reporting to the CFO and partnering with cross-functional leadership. The ideal candidate is hands-on with strong technical expertise and leadership, capable of thriving in a fast-paced healthcare environment and driving process improvements across ERP and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience overseeing accounting functions and teams.
• Strong experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and audit processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP/accounting platforms such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar systems.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting functions including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll reconciliation, fixed assets, and month-end close.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per GAAP.
• Ensure integrity and consistency of financial reporting across entities.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Partner with CFO on annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Analyze KPIs, trends, risks, and opportunities; support strategic decisions.
• Lead internal controls and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Assist with banking relationships and treasury.
