Job summary

Guidebook is seeking a Controller to own accounting operations end to end. You will run the monthly close, manage AR/AP, payroll, cash, and reporting, and serve as NetSuite owner with authority over processes. This is a remote role based on the East Coast of the USA, with a fractional CFO support, and no direct reports.

You must have 7+ years of accounting and a Bachelor's in Accounting. You’ll work with a small, autonomous team and report to the President.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience required.
• Own the full close and reconciliations.
• Experience with NetSuite day-to-day operations.
• Able to work autonomously in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and journal postings.
• Manage AR, AP, and cash flow forecasting.
• Process payroll and reconcile payroll GL accounts.
• Prepare monthly reporting and liaise with external CPA.
