Job summary

Urrly is seeking an Accounting Manager who will own the full accounting cycle as a hands-on department of one, reporting to the CFO. The role covers GAAP compliance, ASC 606, and government contracting requirements while building scalable processes across AR, AP, payroll, and reporting.

You will drive project-level visibility, forecasts, and investor-ready reporting while leading ERP implementations as needed.

Qualifications

CPA required; bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of accounting experience including ownership of the close.
Strong command of GAAP and ASC 606.
Experience in B2B SaaS with subscription revenue, ARR, deferred revenue.
Government contracting accounting experience incl. DCAA-compliance, indirect rates, incurred cost submissions, and contract billing.
Track record of building/rebuilding accounting processes, controls, or systems in a small or scaling company.
ERP implementation experience or involvement in selecting/configuring accounting systems.
Experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP; NetSuite, Sage Intacct are valuable.
Strong Excel skills and ability to provide actionable reporting.
Hands-on accounting leader in a department-of-one environment.
Strong communication skills with executives, auditors, and cross-functional partners.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Support audit readiness and build scalable AR, AP, payroll, reporting, and controls processes.
Provide project-level visibility, forecasts, and board/investor reporting insights.
