My Financial Partner is seeking a Financial Controller to join a growing team supporting a portfolio of retail companies. This remote role partners with company presidents and ownership to drive financial clarity, optimize operations, and support strategic growth across the network.

The role manages full accounting responsibilities including payroll, A/P, A/R, GL, and inventory, while driving profitability and scalable processes for long-term success.

Qualifications

• Experience leading full-cycle accounting for multiple entities.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and revenue recognition.
• Experience with cash flow forecasting and 13-week projections.
• Ability to translate data into strategic insights.

Responsibilities

• Strategic client partnership with retail presidents and leadership teams.
• Lead full-cycle accounting operations including A/P, A/R, GL, inventory, revenue recognition, and payroll.
• Manage month-end and year-end closes, reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, and deferred revenue adjustments.
• Oversee inventory accounting and minimize shrinkage.
• Maintain a 13-week cash flow forecast and optimize working capital.
• Prepare trial balance, variance analyses, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with leadership on budgets, quarterly planning, and long-term initiatives.
• Deliver KPIs reflecting operational performance and margin trends.
