Job summary

Versant Media is seeking a Contract Technology Recruiter to build critical technology capabilities in AI, data, and product. You will recruit specialized talent across software engineering, data engineering, AI/ML, analytics, and infrastructure while guiding hiring leaders with market insights.

This hands-on role requires deep sourcing, consultative coaching, and the ability to manage 15–25 requisitions, whether remote or from offices in New York, Englewood Cliffs NJ, or Orlando FL.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in tech.
• Exceptional advanced-sourcing capability identifying difficult-to-find candidates.
• Recruiting across software engineering, data engineering, AI/ML, analytics/data science, infra/platform, and product.
• Fluency to discuss SQL, Python, APIs, data architecture, AI/ML beyond keywords.
• Strong consultative stakeholder-management skills with hiring managers.
• Ability to manage 15–25 concurrent requisitions autonomously.
• Experience in agency and/or in-house environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruit specialized technology talent across software eng., data eng., AI/ML, analytics/data science, infra/platform, and product.
• Lead advanced sourcing strategies for difficult-to-find talent.
• Serve as a consultative talent advisor to hiring managers and leaders.
• Bring market intelligence to hiring decisions using data and feedback.
• Own full lifecycle from intake to close for multiple requisitions.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate proactively.
