Job summary

INSHUR is seeking a Pricing Analyst Contractor to shape pricing strategy for our largest US commercial auto accounts as we expand across states. The role focuses on bespoke risk assessment, experience rating, and collaboration with underwriting to price complex risks accurately.

This ~3 month, part-time position (~20 hours/week) offers remote work from anywhere in the US or UK, with data-driven tools and a focus on turning imperfect data into decisive pricing models.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting bespoke risk assessments for large commercial accounts.
• Ability to work with imperfect data and find signals.
• Proven collaboration with underwriters to translate risk into numbers.
• Proficient in building and maintaining pricing templates in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke experience rating and pricing for high-value commercial auto submissions (typically $500k+ in premium).
• Collaborate with underwriters to reflect risk characteristics in pricing.
• Own and improve large account pricing tools and templates.
• Analyze loss trends using internal data and benchmarks.
• Clean, manage, and extract value from imperfect data sets to inform pricing models.
