Sedgwick is seeking a Contents Desk Adjuster to handle property and casualty claims up to $15,000, with telecommuter options across Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Missouri, and Minnesota.

Responsibilities include investigating claims, interviewing involved parties, and negotiating settlements. A bachelor’s degree and a state adjuster license are required, with IIA-AIC designation to be obtained within 12–18 months. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates insurance policies, forms, and records to determine coverage.
• Conducts investigations, gathers reports, and inspects damage to determine liability.
• Interviews claimants and witnesses regarding claims.
• Estimates cost of repair, replacement, or compensation.
• Prepares reports and negotiates settlements per carrier instructions.
• Attends litigation hearings and depositions as needed.
• Revises case reserves and manages a caseload using technology.
• Sends claims exceeding $15,000 gross to leadership for approval.
