Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Telecommuter Desk Adjuster to handle property and casualty claims up to $15,000. The role supports a remote work model across MO, IL, WI, MI, and MN, with a bachelor’s degree preferred and an IIA-AIC designation within 12–18 months.

A state adjuster license is required, and three years of related experience is desirable. Compensation ranges from $45,000 to $55,000 USD annually, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, PTO, and flexible

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and state adjuster license required.
• IIA-AIC designation to be obtained within 12–18 months in role.
• Three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate policies, forms, endorsements, and records to determine coverage.
• Conduct investigations, gather reports, inspect damage to determine liability.
• Interview claimants and witnesses regarding claims.
• Estimate cost of repair or replacement.
• Prepare findings and negotiate settlements; issue checks and file regulatory docs.
• Revisit reserves and advise on litigation when necessary.
• Use technology and automation tools for efficient claim handling.
