Job summary

Sedgwick, a leading risk and claims solutions provider, seeks a Contents Adjuster to evaluate inventories and determine replacement cost or ACV. This full-time, telecommuter position supports clients nationwide from Missouri.

You will prepare reports, coordinate replacement services, review receipts, and apply policy terms. Strong communication, MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently are required; a high school diploma and insurance license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year customer service experience required.
• Resident Insurance Adjuster License (Fire & Other Hazards) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residential and commercial contents inventories on a Replacement Cost and ACV basis.
• Finalizes inventory in preparation of reporting including enclosures, letters, and detailed notes for reporting purposes.
• Facilitates use of replacement services as requested by the Contents Adjuster.
• Reviews and processes replacement receipts.
• Applies limitations and/or exclusions on claims based on policy.
• Tracks time and logs file notes of daily field activity.
