SaidGig is seeking a remote contractor to apply writing and editorial expertise to assess AI training data quality. The role focuses on identifying low-quality or artificial language and providing detailed editorial feedback to ensure datasets meet high standards for clarity and natural English usage.

You will annotate AI-generated text, review content for grammar and tone, and collaborate with editors to improve dataset quality and effectiveness for AI evaluation models.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing, editing, or evaluating text-based documents.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field, or previous experience teaching English.
• Native-level English proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in grammar, syntax, copyediting, proofreading, and editorial review.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong editorial judgment.
• Ability to assess content quality and provide constructive feedback.
• Demonstrated ability to recognize nuanced differences between human-written and AI-generated text.
• Prior experience with content assessment, editorial review, or quality assurance projects.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsabilités

• Assess written content for clarity, coherence, accuracy, and compliance with project quality standards.
• Conduct detailed evaluations of writing and provide constructive, actionable feedback for improvement.
• Identify and annotate AI-generated content, including low-quality, formulaic, or unnatural text.
• Review and edit documents for grammar, syntax, structure, tone, and overall readability.
• Apply copyediting, proofreading, editorial judgment, and content quality assessment skills across assigned materials.
• Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and other specialists, providing clear editorial insights and recommendations.
• Produce written analyses and recommendations designed to improve the effectiveness of AI model training datasets.
• Complete assignments within defined project timelines while maintaining consistent and reliable quality.
