micro1 is the leading AI data lab for training frontier models and evaluating AI agents. We seek a remote Content Writer & Editor contractor to contribute high-quality text for client projects and help train next-generation AI systems.

You will assess clarity and accuracy, annotate AI-generated content, and provide actionable editorial insights to improve training data. Strong English skills and domain knowledge matter, while no prior AI experience is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in writing, editing, or evaluating text-based documents.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, or related field; or prior experience teaching English.
• Native-level proficiency in English with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clarity, coherence, and accuracy of written content to meet project standards.
• Conduct detailed writing evaluations, providing constructive feedback for continual improvement.
• Identify and annotate AI-generated content, focusing on detecting AI slop or low-quality text elements.
• Review and edit documents for grammar, syntax, structure, and tone, maintaining high-level English proficiency.
• Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and other specialists, offering actionable editorial insights.
• Contribute written analyses and recommendations to enhance AI model training datasets.
• Complete assignments within defined project timelines, ensuring consistency and reliability in deliverables.
