Job summary

Call Federal Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Loan Consultant to guide members through the lending journey, interviewing members, identifying lending solutions, and originating loans across vehicle, personal, credit card, and home equity products.

In this role, you will manage applications via phone, online, and mobile channels, working with processors and underwriters to ensure timely funding while delivering exceptional member service. Virginia residency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of consumer lending experience within a financial institution.
• Knowledge of home equity lending preferred.
• Excellent interviewing and consultative sales skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the member's lending journey.
• Originate consumer loans including vehicle loans, personal loans, credit cards, HELOCs.
• Manage loan applications through phone, online banking and mobile channels.
• Coordinate with processors and underwriters to facilitate efficient loan closings.
• Meet or exceed production goals and identify new lending opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required disclosures.
• Protect confidential member information and adhere to security standards.
