Alteryx is searching for a Consulting Sales Engineer. This role bridges technical capabilities and customer needs, translating the Alteryx platform into business value.

You will work with the sales team to deliver demos and tailored solutions for prospective clients in a remote-friendly New England area. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in pre-sales or consulting in data analytics, cloud familiarity (AWS, Azure, GCP), and strong communication skills to navigate multi-department buying processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales or consultant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science; at least 3 years in the field.
• Knowledge of public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) with familiarity in Snowflake and Databricks; SQL, Python, R, Spark or similar are pluses.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics, data science, and ETL; proficiency with Alteryx or similar tools is desirable.
• Ability to handle complex selling across multiple departments and levels (LOB, C-suite, IT).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and continuously re-prioritize around the sales process.
• Travel up to 40% or as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales support for pre-qualified opportunities for all products in the Alteryx Platform.
• Craft and deliver technical presentations of offerings to new potential customers.
• Develop and deliver POC demonstrations to show feasibility and value in the customer's environment.
• Stay up to date on Alteryx solutions, industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies.
• Mentor team members and develop learning plans to improve platform knowledge and sales engineering skills.
• Work with sales management to drive sales through process optimization, training, and collaboration.
