Job summary

Siemens Grid Software is seeking a Consulting Project Manager to lead strategy and planning engagements within the PTI Energy Advisory team. You will guide integrated planning, market outlooks, and decarbonization studies, coordinating senior consultants and analysts across multiple functions.

This remote role based in the Contiguous U.S. offers exposure to production cost models (Aurora, PROMOD) and client-facing delivery, with responsibilities spanning risk, forecasting, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, economics, operations research, finance, statistics, physics, or mathematics.
• 3+ years of consulting in electrical power/energy using production cost tools.
• Knowledge of power market fundamentals and decarbonization trends.
• Strong leadership and client-facing capabilities.
• Experience delivering projects for energy-sector clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead consulting engagements using production cost models to support planning studies.
• Develop long-term plans for renewable generation and DER adoption.
• Manage project teams and coordinate with Forecasting, Risk, and Transmission groups.
• Ensure timely execution and clear alignment with internal stakeholders.
• Oversee market simulations and regulatory impact analyses.
• Communicate findings clearly to clients.
