Job summary

ICF is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager in Energy Markets Consulting to drive market analyses, price forecasts, asset valuations, and advisory services for a diverse client base in the U.S. power sector.

You will manage engagements, mentor juniors, and contribute to growth through business development and thought leadership, spanning renewables, storage, transmission, and large-load opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Mathematics, Energy Systems or related quantitative field.
• Manager: 7+ years of relevant experience; Senior Manager: 10+ years.
• Experience in U.S. power markets (ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE, MISO, SPP, CAISO, WECC, or SERC).
• Experience leading consulting engagements or energy market analyses; client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary consulting teams on power market studies, asset valuations, and strategic advisory projects.
• Oversee long-term price forecasts for energy, capacity, ancillary services, and REC markets.
• Ensure quality, relevance, and timely delivery of client-facing work products.
• Review power market models using PROMOD, PSLF, and other tools.
• Present analyses and recommendations to executive-level clients.
