Job summary

ApplianceSmart Contracting, a 100% woman-owned/minority-owned multi-state company, seeks an ambitious Sales Representative. The role focuses on establishing partnerships, following up bids, coordinating with estimating, and driving growth in major appliance sales for multi-family construction projects.

You will negotiate contracts, present compelling proposals, and manage relationships with general contractors and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in construction sales.
• Strong understanding of the construction industry and subcontracting processes.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills; strong communication.
• Must develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and services.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
• Experience as a construction sales rep in startup or fast-paced env.
• Strong self-motivation and independence; team-capable.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain partnerships and relationships with customers and key industry players.
• Follow up and call existing bids to influence decision makers.
• Coordinate with estimating dept. to handle requests timely.
• Work with leadership on sales goals, growth, ROI and profitability.
• Build business, manage growth with existing and prospective customers.
• Seek relationships with general contractors to support company growth.
• Envision and implement new product development and launches.
• Manage and meet sales benchmarks toward primary goals.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet revenue targets.
• Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales reports and forecasts.
