Job summary

ApplianceSmart Contracting, a 100% woman-owned/minority-owned multi-state company, is seeking an ambitious Sales Representative to elevate our growth in the major appliances market for multi-family construction.

You will establish partnerships, follow up bids, coordinate with estimating, and drive long-term revenue through negotiation and presentation skills. Travel may be required; work from home with a day shift. This role offers base salary or salary-plus-commission and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in construction sales.
• Strong understanding of the construction industry and subcontracting processes.
• Excellent negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Must develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as customer needs.
• Experience as a construction sales representative in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Strong management skills, with the ability to work independently and in small teams.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain partnerships and relationships with customers and other key players in the industry.
• Follow up and call all existing bids to determine and influence decision makers.
• Coordinate with the estimating department to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and timely.
• Work with leadership on sales, growth, profit, and ROI.
• Build business sales and manage growth with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify builders and negotiate terms to maintain ongoing relationships.
• Assist with product development and launches to meet customer expectations.
• Meet sales benchmarks and deliver reports and forecasts to management.
