Job summary

ApplianceSmart Contracting, a 100% woman-owned multi-state company, seeks a results‑oriented Sales Representative to elevate growth in the multi-family construction market. You will establish partnerships, follow up bids, coordinate with estimating, and drive long‑term revenue while maintaining client relationships.

The role offers base salary, salary plus commission, or straight commission, plus health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, PTO, and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in construction sales.
• Strong understanding of the construction industry and subcontracting processes.
• Excellent negotiation, and presentation skills. Superlative communication skills.
• Must be able to develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as the needs of its customers.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.
• Proven experience as a construction sales representative in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Strong management skills, with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain partnerships and relationships with customers and other key players in the industry.
• Follow up and call all existing bids to determine and influence decision makers.
• Coordinate with the estimating department within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely fashion.
• Work with leadership regarding all aspects of the company's sales with an emphasis on long-term goals, growth, profit, and return on investment.
• Build business sales and manage growth with existing and prospective customers.
• Seek out and build relationships with general contractors to support the growth of the company.
• Work with leadership to envision and implement new product development and launch, driving innovation and creativity, and ensuring the final product meets customer expectations and is of high quality.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
• Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
