Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with sales and operations teams.
• Willingness to travel locally for property/project visits and attend trade shows or industry events as needed.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record sufficient to meet the eligibility requirements of the company's automobile insurance program.
• Ability to satisfy applicable company background-screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with and report directly to the National Sales Manager.
• Manage and nurture existing client accounts to maintain strong relationships, customer satisfaction, and long-term retention.
• Support the National Sales Manager with project management and coordination.
• Communicate with customers to understand project requirements, timelines, and expectations.
• Collaborate with operations and other cross-functional teams to develop solutions tailored to each client's needs.
• Assist with identifying and developing new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and marketing/networking events as needed to develop new relationships and strengthen existing ones.
• Conduct property and project site visits as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of sales activities, customer communications, opportunities, and pipeline status.
• Assist in gathering information and preparing bid packages and proposals.
• Review bid packages with the National Sales Manager prior to submission to customers.
• Follow up on opportunities, proposals, and customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent C&K Paving Contractors professionally with customers, vendors, and industry partners.
