Job summary

General Kinematics Corporation is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee new construction and installation projects, coordinating with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

The role involves managing budgets, schedules, and resources, traveling frequently to sites, and ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. Remote work is supported with varying project locations and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial technology, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience managing new construction and equipment installations.
• Knowledge of construction methods and technologies.
• Blueprint reading with AutoCAD, Inventor, or Navisworks.
• Understanding of business P&L practices.

Responsibilities

• Visit sites regularly during construction and attend meetings.
• Conduct quality assurance and safety inspections.
• Maintain and update SOW and preconstruction documents.
• Respond to delays, emergencies, and disruptions.
• Coordinate with project management, contractors, and vendors.
• Monitor change orders onsite and communicate updates.
• Track budget, scope, schedule, and cost; analyze goals.
• Travel up to 70–80%.
